Data Not Collected
GoCheckMyVitals does not collect any data from you or about you. We have no servers that receive your information, so there is nothing for us to store, sell or share.
What the app reads
With your permission, the app reads data from Apple Health on your iPhone: sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate, blood oxygen, wrist temperature, steps, activity, walking measures, VO2 max, weight, and your date of birth and sex. You choose which of these to allow, and you can change that at any time in Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Health, then GoCheckMyVitals.
The app only reads. It never writes to or changes your Apple Health data.
Where your data goes
- Nowhere. Every score, trend and read is calculated on your iPhone. The app makes no network requests with your data.
- What the app calculates is kept in its own storage on your iPhone so the app and its widgets can show it. It is excluded from iCloud and from device backups.
- Notifications are created on your iPhone. They do not pass through any server of ours.
- Siri and Shortcuts answers come from the read already on your iPhone.
What we do not do
- No account and no sign-in.
- No analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party software kits inside the app.
- No advertising and no tracking, in the app or across other apps and websites.
- No selling, renting or sharing of any information.
Purchases
Vital Plus is an optional subscription. Apple handles the purchase, payment and renewals. We never see your name, Apple ID or payment details. The app only learns from Apple whether a subscription is active, so it can unlock Vital Plus on your iPhone. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app deletes everything it calculated and stored. You can also delete it without removing the app: in the app, go to You, then "Delete Vital's data on this iPhone". Neither touches your Apple Health data, which stays in Apple Health until you remove it there.
Children
The app is meant for adults. It collects no data from anyone, of any age.
This website
This policy covers the iPhone app. The gocheckmy.com website, where this page is hosted, is covered by the GoCheckMy privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and in the app's listing. Because we hold no contact details, we cannot tell you directly, so the version here is always the current one.
